One XLR back to your Axe‑Fx III or FM9. Four expression pedals, four external switches, and 9V DC power at your feet. The Outpost speaks native FASLINK II, so your modeler sees it as the Fractal hardware it expects.

01 — The idea

One cable to the rack. Everything else at your feet.

Your modeler lives in the rack or on the far end of the stage. Your pedals don't. The Outpost sits on the board, emulates a FASLINK device, and turns a single XLR run into a full breakout of controllers and power.

02 — Features

Small box. Full loadout.

Native FASLINK II

Emulates a FASLINK device, so the Axe‑Fx III, FM9 and other FASLINK II hosts talk to it directly. No MIDI translation, no extra boxes.

Four expression inputs

Pedal 1–4 on standard 1/4" TRS jacks. Wah, volume, whammy, morph: give every one its own pedal.

Four external switches

Switch 1+2 and Switch 3+4 share a TRS jack each, so two dual-button switches get you four more stomps for tap tempo, scene flips or looper duty.

9V DC output

A standard 9V DC pedal-power output. Run a tuner, a boost or that one analog fuzz you can't give up from the same box.

Purple sparkle 1590BBS

A die-cast aluminum 1590BBS enclosure in purple sparkle powder coat. Small enough for any board, and easy to spot on a dark stage.

Cleaner cable runs

Stop running a snake of TRS cables back to the rack. A single XLR carries the link, and every controller plugs in at the board.
